Congratulations to Jasmine Boyce and Presley Jones for being selected to the All State Band.  We are very proud of you.

 

*Congratulations to the 8 students that advanced to the All Area Band Audtions. Michael Bernal, Jasmine Boyce, Edith Espinoza, Joe Gonzales, Jose Gonzales, Presley Jones, Ethan Neely, and Eric Poehl.  

 

*Congratulations to 10 students that were selected for the All Region Band. Michael Bernal, Jasmine Boyce, Hannah Eldridge, Edith Espinoza, Joe Gonzales, Jose Gonzales, Presley Jones, Ethan Neely, Cody Poehl and Eric Poehl. 

 

*Congratulations to the 8 students that were selected for the Middle School All Region Band. Garrison Ballard, Cameron Boyce, Cabrini Clayton, Kailey Eldridge, Jazmine Jackson, Gabby Kovasovic, Ashlynn Sprouse and Layne Tharp. 

 

*Congratulations to the Somerville Yegua Marching Band for placing 10th at the UIL State Marching Contest.

 

*Congratulations to the Somerville Yegua Marching Band for placing 1st place at the Area D Marching Contest. They advanced to the State Marching Contest.

 

*Congratulations to the Somerville Yegua Marching Band for receiving a first division rating.  They advanced to the Area D marching Contest.

 

*Congratulations to the Somerville Yegua Marching Band for receiving first division ratings from all judges and winning the annual Blinn Buccaneer Marching Festival in Class 2A. In addition to this honor, the Yegua Band received the best drum major (LeAndrew Watson), best percussion, and best soloists (Jasmine Boyce and Eric Poehl) awards.

 

*Congratulations to Jasmine Boyce.  Jasmine auditioned for the All Region Jazz Band on Bass Trombone and made the Band!
